Beautify QR Code
About this tool
Customize the appearance of a QR code with a logo, pattern style, colors, and margin while keeping it scannable.
How to use
- 1. Upload a QR code image.
- 2. Open the Beautify area.
- 3. Adjust the logo, pattern, colors, and margin.
- 4. Download the result as PNG or SVG.
Parameters
Upload a logo in the Beautify area to place it in the center of the QR code. A larger logo covers more QR code area and may affect recognition.
Squares is the traditional style and the safest default. Dots and Rounded change how the modules look; test them with your phone after applying.
The most important rule is to keep enough contrast between the foreground and background colors. Dark foreground with a light background is usually easier to scan.
The margin keeps blank space around the QR code. The default Standard - 4 modules is recommended, because scanners use this area to find the QR code boundary.
Tips and notes
- Keep strong color contrast between foreground and background.
- Avoid a very light foreground color.
- Keep the logo a moderate size.
- Test dot and rounded styles with your phone.
- Use a higher error correction level when adding a larger logo.
FAQ
How do I add a logo to a QR code?
Open the Beautify area, upload a logo, and adjust the logo size and margin. Keep the logo moderate and scan-test the result.
Which colors should I use for a QR code?
Dark foreground with a light background is the easiest to scan. Keep the contrast high enough and test before printing.
What is the difference between dot and rounded styles?
They change how QR modules are drawn. Dots look softer and simpler, while rounded modules look rounder. Recognition can vary, so test with your phone.
How large should the QR code logo be?
Keep it moderate and cover as little QR code area as possible. After changing the logo size, scan the QR code with your phone.
Will the beautified QR code still scan?
Usually yes, but it depends on contrast, logo size, margin, and the scanning device. Always scan-test the final result before printing or publishing.
